An ideal rural couples retreat, The 'award winning' Roost, can be found down one of Shropshires quiet country lanes, offering peace and relaxation, whilst still being within easy reach of the wide open spaces of the Shropshire Hills and the historic towns of Shrewsbury, Church Stretton, Bridgnorth and Ludlow with all they have to offer.
We aim to do all we can to provide you with cosy, comfortable accommodation, to help you have a relaxing holiday.

Facilities...
We are heated by oil central heating however, we do our best to protect the environment. Our water comes from a borehole (tested annually) and electricity and hot water, in the summer, comes mainly from our solar panels.
A welcome hamper of bread, milk, cereal, butter, tea, coffee, preserves and bottle of wine awaits you with dog treats and a toy for your four legged friend.
Sitting Room
From the private parking area, the main entrance leads you into the sitting room with a comfortable seating, electric fire, coffee table and Freeview TV. In the bookcase you will find reading material, games and jigsaws for that quiet evening in, along with maps and information of the local area and special information for those with dogs.
Bedroom & Bathroom
In the bedroom you will find a comfortable kingsize bed, with duvet, blanket and an extra throw for those cooler nights, or a low tog duvet for the summer.
There's a built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets, chairs and bedside lights.
A window seat overlooks the rear garden and adjoining lake with two further windows overlooking the front of the property.
The bathroom has a bath with separate walk in shower, toilet and basin. We provide body wash, shampoo and conditioner as well as luxurious soft towels for your use.
Kitchen / Breakfast Room
The kitchen/breakfast room is well equipped with induction hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave, along with Denby crockery. Dining table and chairs.
Doors lead out from the kitchen into the pretty enclosed garden ideal for your 4 legged friend and alfresco dining whilst taking in views of the adjoining lake and hills.
Outdoor Space
The Roost benefits from 2 parking spaces to the front and 2 garden areas. There is a secure bike store for your convenience.
The rear garden is fenced off from the owners garden by a picket fence, secure for your four-legged friend. The patio area has a BBQ, table and chairs, lawned area and flower border. Views towards the hills and adjoining lake can be had from here.
The courtyard to the front has a gravel area with table and chairs and umbrella.
